The First African-Asian Congress on Mycobacteriology to be held by Masih Daneshvari Hospital
The first African-Asian Congress on Mycobacteriology will be held in Abbasi Hotel of Isfahan on 7-11 March, 2015.
Dr.Farnia, Director of Mycobacteriology Research Center, stated: unfortunately, these days the number of mycobacterial infections, in particular non-TB types of infection is on an increasing pattern, which cause an extended spectrum of other serious and even life threatening infections. Hence, further studies and special attention are required in this regard.
Dr.Farnia mentioned the most important topics of debate including diagnostic methods, predisposing factors, new treatment methods and approaches, novel laboratory and diagnostic tests compatible with the latest world standards and their application in disease control and effective treatment.
